The Los Angeles Film School is located in the heart of Hollywood, California, offering a curriculum of film education in the premiere location in the motion picture capital of the world.

The Los Angeles Film School was founded in 1999 by a group of Hollywood professionals. Their goal was to establish a film school where current film industry professionals could share their knowledge of film production with a new generation of aspiring filmmakers. The Los Angeles Film School is a leader, using some of the most current industry standard film equipment in its classrooms, labs, and soundstages. This industry current, high tech campus is heralded as “One of the best-equipped private learning centers in the country.”

The Los Angeles Film School offers a one year Immersion Filmmaking Program that provides comprehensive training and hands-on experience in filmmaking.  Students spend about 30 hours a week in class in addition to class exercises and productions in their chosen and elective concentrations. The comprehensive curriculum offered focuses on connecting the technical requirements of filmmaking, to the creativity of the Filmmaker.
